Depression – We are in this together!!

We all know that we live in a dual world. Do we ?

Well, a balance between happy and sad, love and hate, success and failure is what life looks like. We are living in a world where we flaunt only our positives, only our achievements, only our joyful moments, only our success. Only these things are put out on display in our social media platforms, our family gatherings and our hangout with buddies.

Why? Because of Insecurity, Criticism, Judgement, Bullying and what not. Yes, this is true. Our society is like that.  But someday, someone somehow needs to put a fullstop to this.

We need to bring the change and we can only do this when we feel that it’s okay to fail, it’s okay to have flaws and most importantly it’s okay to tell them out to the world. Putting all the unnecessary garbage inside our brains leads to Depression.

First, let’s make this word Depression more normal in our daily life. We all go through this. We need to start accepting it and speaking out about it to our near and dear ones.

I know it’s a little hard to start but trust me you will start feeling lighter. If you don’t want to do it with any person, at least start it with a paper. Put it down on it. We are all in this together. Asking for help is brave. Listening to the one who needs our help is what is really required.

All we need to do is just be there, listen and understand. Its that simple. Little patience and kindness could change your’s and my life.

Mental Health is very important. It’s our mind and our thoughts that can make or break our lives. Keep that mind of yours and others happy. That’s the only thing we need to do.
