Did you ever install Tik Tok on your device? Have you ever liked a video or followed someone on the app? Well heedlessly of your previous perceptions about Tik Tok and Tik Tok stars, you will be amazed to know what this group of Tik Tok stars did.

This story will make you think how a different view about using the same platform can change everything!

Nowadays, there isn’t a better platform to influence a large number of people than social media. Social media influencers have become a core source of creating trends overnight.

But what if these influencers get bored by what they’re doing?

The same happened with a nineteen-year-old social media influencer, Josh Richards. He seemed quite upset about just promoting some brands on his social media handles and so decided to back some potential startups and then promote them on his Tik Tok handle, which has 25 Million followers.

With this, he targets to convert these followers to potential customers for those startups.

With a couple of other fellow Tik Tok stars, he founded a VC(Venture Capital) firm with $15 million capital. The firm is said to be backed by some of the biggest names in the industry, former White House Director of communications Anthony Scaramucci,  Tinder co-founder Sean Rad, former Tik Tok CEO Kevin Mayer, and the Winklevoss twins.

Richards sees this VC firm as an opportunity for him to become the first social media billionaire. “After this fund is done, we’re going to raise a second and a third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh,” said Richards.

Further, the nineteen-year-old also added that a lot of other influencers would also get inspired by them and get into the same.

“We create trends. That’s what we do.”
