Apple iPhone 12 series is finally out. This year the firm has introduced four iPhones in its portfolio, all powered by the new A14 Bionic chipset. It is worth adding that since COVID-19 has affected many players in the consumer tech industry, including Apple, the launch of the new iPhones arrived late. Usually the firm introduces its flagship iPhones in September every year.
The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini will be available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB models in blue, green, black, white, and PRODUCT (RED), starting at ₹79,900 and ₹69,900, respectively from apple.com and through Apple Authorised Resellers. The iPhone 12 will be available in India, South Korea, and more than a dozen other countries and regions beginning Friday, October 30.

However, this time the firm is expecting to revive its low iPhone sales projections with multiple models priced at different segments and audience.
The new iPhones try to bring a mix of new tech and nostalgia as it carries a similar design as the iPhone 5 and 5S. It has flat side bezels with a more boxy design but has the latest tech inside that makes it snappier and efficient. It comes in different colours.
A lot of focus has been giving to 5G connectivity. The new 5G iPhone 12 models will let you browse the web faster and in a more efficient manner. In the US, Verizon users can access 5G speeds when using the iPhone 12.
The basic difference lies in the number of rear cameras in the iPhone 12 models. While the two, non-Pro models feature dual rear cameras, the more costly ‘Pro’ models come with three sensors at the back.
Apple’s A14 Bionic made using 5nm process. It’s said to be 70% faster than last year’s A13 Bionic. Apple also says that this chipset can deliver ‘console’ level games.
The charging tech is also improving this time. Apple has introduced MagSafe wireless charging system for iPhones. You can use the accessories that attach to the new iPhones using magnets for easy charging.
