This year, rumors were pointing to the arrival of three new OnePlus models. Yet, they released just two of them back on 14th April – OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. It seems like the constant problems raised because of COVID-19 Pandemic had delayed the construction/manufacturing of the third device, which is a midrange smartphone to debut as OnePlus Z.
The OnePlus Z is to be the phone for OnePlus what the iPhone SE 2020 is to Apple, this is an affordable phone by the company’s standard. We’ve been hearing about it since the last year and it was the far fantasy for OnePlus fans. However, the company has finally got everything right with this handset, and it is ready to launch soon. Oneplus Z Design
The midrange smartphone images have revealed by the people at Slashleaks. They showcased the highly expected smartphone’s display in all its glory. Unlike the other variants, this does not have rounded corners. It is a rectangular smartphone with moderate bezels and a flat display. Moreover, it designed with a centre aligned punch hole for selfie camera.
OnePlus and MediaTek May Start a Partnership With The New OnePlus Z
Sadly, there are no images revealing the back of the smartphone. Yet, some leaked renders in the past revealed a triple camera setup module fitting in a 2020 trending rectangular array.
According to the rumors, OnePlus Z bags a 48MP primary shooter and glass finish at the back and also indicates that the midrange handset will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1000 SoC with 5G connectivity.
