To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is a beautiful love story, it is a teenage drama. So when you hear the word teenage drama, a lot might come into your head. This story is a little different from the others. They released this movie in the year 2018 It is available on Netflix.
Being in High School, you tend to develop crushes and fantasies. Similarly was this girl (Lara) who had a crush on unique people, at different phases of life. The twist here is that she never confessed about her crush to anyone. She used to write down her feelings on a paper and put in an envelope with their address on it and hide it in her secret box.
She has two sister’s in which one of them moved to another country for her College and the little one is just way fancier in life than the remaining sisters. The little gets goofy and feels that her sister needs to get a boyfriend and she sends those letters out, all at once. Imagine 5 of her letters being sent out and her feelings being told to five original guys.
One of the letters goes to her former best-friend Boyfriend (Peter), who has recently broken up with her girl. He was the famous guy in the school, whom everyone would like to have a date with for sure. Oh! yes, it all begins with the damn smile like they say.
Well, Peter finds this as an opportunity to get his ex back by using Lara and making her jealous. Well, she agrees on this as the letters have percolated all over. So they make a set of rules to follow so that it does not go extreme and they actually make everyone believe that they are together, while this all a foreplay for Peter to get his girl back. They become the new couple, like the trending couple out there.
They go on this trip, in which a lot happens and things start to change. Peter’s ex tries to get him back but at a point he himself realises that maybe she is not the one.
In this process, they do a lot of damage and fall in love. Who would have imagined a famous high-schooler falling in love with a girl who was just an agreement used to get his ex back! But the stories have their own opening and they form a beautiful couple. This is Lara’s first ever BOYFRIEND in her life. So the credit goes to her younger sister, who has sent the letters.
The story is just so cute, you would never want to leave it behind. This movie holds a lot of emotions and if you are in a mood for a ride down the memory lane, watch it. Well, this just the beginning. They have released the sequel of the movie in the year 2020.
