Khairatabad Ganesh is gearing up breaking its legacy of 61 feet tall past 2019 to stand with more uniqueness of 1 foot long this August 2020, with a backdrop of COVID effect, Quoted chairman of Khairatabad Ganesh Utsav Samithi, S.Sudarshan.
It’s three months before festival and with response to spikes in COVID-19 cases. the Utsav Samithi, decides to simplify the making and immersion of idol much simpler, diverting their focus for maintenance of gathering and improvised sanitation facilities.
The tradition of Khairatabad started way back in year 1954 by freedom fighter Shankaraih with the idol of 1 foot at pandal, and till date this was increased to the present massive height and this year lets revive our past and expect a healthy festival .
The Utsav Samithi committed all the rituals and traditions held would be intact only there’ll be a change in size but are going to be surely a memorizing idol for this 2020.
They are also gonna follow strict instructions of social distancing at the mandap.
