Telangana State extends lockdown till 30th June. As the center gave some relaxations in lockdown 5.0, it also left the state governments to decide on inter-state movements.
As a result, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh state governments have mutually agreed to allow the interstate movement for RTC. Though there are some measures to follow, we can see the governments are succeeded in lifting the lockdown.
The state governments from now planning to lift the lockdown stage wise. And the first stage of lifting lockdown starts from the 8th of June.
The state governments are solely responsible for giving relaxations on interstate movements. Sources say Tamilnadu didn’t give relaxation yet. And have to wait for other state’s decisions.
As the traffic between the two Telugu states forced the government to allow the RTC services in lockdown 5.0. So the good news is for the people who were blocked in other cities or states may see their homes now.
Further updates and relaxations will be announced by the Telangana government on the 7th of June. And we can expect some more relaxation from the 8th of June. Travelers will be quarantined? We expect there will be no quarantine for the passengers as the government didn’t give any of these on flight passengers in Telangana.
But, we can expect some changes reported today regarding the lockdown as the new 199 positive cases recorded in Telangana for the first time. This is not the time to Inter-State Travel.
Though the government lifting the lockdown, we recommend you to go out if it is an emergency.
