Nearly a dozen low-intensity earthquakes tremored the Delhi for the past couple of months. Earlier there were predictions made seeing the current happening disasters to speculate a bigger disaster in the mere future, so is the condition happening with Delhi earthquakes.Recently, there were earthquakes in Jharkhand
It is a humble appeal to all the people out there living in and around Delhi to lower your anxiety worrying about the non-happening disaster. There is no way to predict an earthquake confirmed by “NATIONAL DISASTER MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY “.
The minor magnitude earthquakes reported on seismograph occur often in Aravalli Delhi belt which starts somewhere in Mount Abu area and from there these ways runs into Ajmer, Jaipur and reaches Delhi finally settling in sediments of the Himalayan region .
And at the same time, this is not a sign of a bigger disaster, because they usually occur all along these belts very often. But the major issue concerned people for experiencing the jolts frequently around the Delhi region in the past two months.
Considering the earthquakes for the past 30 years for this region, the NDMA confirmed a slightly higher range of seismic waves recorded so the top level of activation, but it is a part of background seismicity.
The question of predicting a bigger earthquake is eating up people’s mind?
But as stated there is no volcano located in regions of Delhi and it falls under the region of INDIAN PLATE REGION called as STABLE CONTINENTAL REGION, so with all the proof please do not have unusual worries and stay calm and believe that the possibility of the occurrence of such big earthquakes is very low.
Folks, there is no need to panic but to have control over any uncertain issue to mitigate losses, stay alert to stay in touch with emergency helplines.
