Satyadev has already done good films like Bluff Master. Now he is back with Uma maheshwara Ugra Roopasya.
This movie is Venkatesh Maha’s second directorial adventure after C/o Kancharapalem (2018).
Satyadev Kancharana was marked to play the lead role. Bijibal, who created the music for the first, made the tunes for the film. The movie is delivered by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni of Arka Media Works and Praveena Paruchuri, who recently chipped away at C/o Kancharapalem.
The film was shot in the far off areas of Araku Valley. Debutantes Hari Chandana and Roopa Koduvayur play the lead on-screen characters in the film. 30 July 2020, it was declared that the movie would have an immediate release on Netflix.
Hemanth Kumar of Firstpost praised Satydev’s presentation and opined that the film is a wonderful dramatization with a setting that is infrequently investigated in Telugu cinema.
Sowmya Rajendran of The News Minute expressed that Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya is a “reliable revamp” which holds the soul of the original.
Neeshita Nyayapati of The Times of India appraised the film three-and-half stars out of five and called it, “The best story of retribution you’ll ever see.
