The Ministry of Home Affairs has allowed colleges and institutions to to conduct final exams with adequate safety measures which are pending since because of lockdown.
The Ministry of Home Affairs wrote to higher education secretary, giving the permission of the exams.
” They also specified that Final exams are compulsory for Final years as per guidelines on Examinations and Academic Calender for the Universities ; approved by the Union ministry of health & Family welfare ” read ministry’s letter.
Many Government’s also called off the cancellation of exams. Maharashtra had already cancelled the exams already.
They also specified that intermediate students should be promoted on the basis of internal assessment and performance of previous semester exam.
We also need to see that the education system in India is all about exams and not about knowledge.
Our Government also proved the same, allowing the exams for final years and making it compulsory.
We already know that there is a spike in Corona cases and we have taken the third position in the world and the numbers are increasing daily with a Rapid rate and we need to take care of ourselves and the government’s decision to conduct exams is not correct.
