Five Feet’s Apart

The film portrays the story about two young teenagers who are affected by Cystic fibrosis, a life-threatening disease where no two patients with the same disease can come in contact with each other.

Even though Stella and Will cannot come in contact with each other they try to maintain a relationship. Stella after observing the fact that Will is not following the treatment regimen tries to get him on track and by the end of this process, they end up falling in love with each other.

When a tragic accident occurs on one of their secret dates both of them end up in the emergency ward. Though Stella gets a new lung transplant and survives, Will ends up in a situation where the drugs no more support his body condition and Hence, he leaves Stella by confessing his love towards her. This film is a romantic drama that was inspired by Claire Wineland, who suffered from cystic Fibrosis.

A very genuine story and heart-warming film which is worth watching.

Me Before You

Me Before You is a romantic film that revolves around the story of Lou and William, who are completely different from each other. Lou is been hired as a companion to William who is paralyzed from the neck and is bound to a wheelchair for the rest of his life due to an accident.

One day after overhearing William’s parents talk about his plan about assisted suicide, Lou becomes determined to change William’s mind. In the process of helping him William, both Lou and William fall in love with each other and due to which Lou’s previous relationship with her boyfriend comes to an end.

Lou later spends the last days of William with him by supporting him and he dies, leaving her a letter in which he asks her to ‘Just Live’.
This is movie is highly embedded with emotions and selfless love between two individuals who are ready to do anything for each other as support.

Fault in our Stars

Fault in our Stars is a film which is based on a novel in which the story starts when Hazel a teenager suffering from thyroid cancer meets Augustus another teenager who lost one of his legs to bone cancer in a support group and start getting close when she suggests him to read a novel.

Augustus is frustrated over the abrupt ending of the novel and later tries to reach the author via the author’s assistant and they find out that he was a complete alcohol addict. Hazel and Augustus fall in love on the trip they planned to meet the author.

Through this process, Augustus tells Hazel that his cancer has returned and arranges a pre-funeral where eulogies are shared as Augustus’s health condition worsens.

Later when Augustus dies Hazel is in a shock to see the alcoholic author at his funeral and learns the truth that he wrote the book in the memory of his daughter who passed away due to leukaemia. Hazel also learns the truth about how the author helped Augustus write his eulogy. This is remade in hindi as dil bechara.

The film is a complete package of mixed emotions. At one point there is extreme love and care which makes you weep and the funny side where you start laughing which is very pure and authentic.

Forever My Girl

Forever, My Girl is a story about Josie and Liam where Liam leaves Josie on their wedding day unattended, leaving the marriage broken. Liam returns after eight years to the same town where he used to reside and meets Josie and learns the truth that he has an eight-year-old daughter.

Josie reveals to him the truth that she was two weeks pregnant before the marriage and wanted to tell Liam after marriage, but that couldn’t happen. Liam slowly starts taking up the responsibilities of their daughter Billy and tries to become a good father.

One day he confronts Josie about how much he loved her and still loves her, why he had to leave on the day of their marriage and promises to take up the responsibilities of their daughter. One night he announces to his fans about her being “The One’ he loved. The film portrays the affection and love one can have towards a person they loved in the Past.

The movie also shows the innocence of a child’s behaviour, of knowing the truth about her long-gone father who returns after so many years and who is ready to be her father lately.

Midnight Sun

Midnight Sun is a romantic movie which is based on a Japanese film in which a girl named Katie suffers from a rare condition where she is sensitive to sunlight. Only her father and her best friend are aware of her condition.

One day she gets noticed while singing by her long-time crush Charlie in a railway station. When she tries to leave the place after being noticed by Charlie, she drops her Notebook, which is later picked up by Charlie. Later when she comes to retrieve it she meets Charlie then they start spending time together.

In this process, both of them start falling in love with each other, and in one of their night dates Katie runs home panicking before sunrise which leaves Charlie completely confused, and in that way, he learns the truth about her condition. Later Katie confronts Charlie about her condition and Charlie starts working on completing her wishes before she dies.

This movie is based on a very basic storyline and is a teen romantic drama that is very emotional and keeps the viewer’s attention with many surprising elements in it.
