Honda launched Livo 110cc with the BS6-Compliant Iteration

honda livo bs6

Honda launched its 110cc commuter, the Livo with the BS6 compliant iteration, at a starting price of Rs 69,422. The Honda Livo will be available in two variants, disk and drum, yet the price of disc brake variant is to be revealed. At this price point, the new Livo is more expensive than the BS6 Shine (Rs 67,447) and the base variant of the CD 110 Dream (Rs 63,657) in the Honda’s motorcycle range.

Honda Livo Engine

The Livo is powered by the same engine and gearbox used in the CD 110 Dream i.e. a fuel-injected 110cc engine that generates 8.8 hp of peak power and 9.3 Nm of peak torque, which is paired to a 4-speed gearbox. Honda has also provided its silent-start system in the Livo that is now found across Honda’s portfolio in India.

BS6 Livo Upgrades

In this new iteration, Honda has upgraded the motorcycle slightly. While the overall design looks the same, headlight and tail light have been improved. The Livo 110 now comes with a new semi-digital instrument cluster that looks a lot more modern than the unit on the BS4 model. The Livo 110 also gets a new starter button that doubles up as a kill switch, similar to the one on the Honda SP 125 2020. The other changes include a headlight that runs on Direct Current (DC) power, which means it isn’t subject to fluctuation like a unit that runs on an Alternating Current (AC). This is specifically helpful on dimly lit roads in villages and smaller towns.
