Hyderabad has witnessed its biggest rainfall ever leading to floods and many colonies turned into lakes even after so many days. Many Government properties have been damaged too and many families have faced heavy losses. Earlier the state government has released 5cr to GHMC to start repairing the damaged roads and properties. The state government has also stated that flood-affected colonies will be compensated with Rs. 10,000/- for each family.
Coming to reality, many people have started protests against the officials as they are not still compensated with the Rs. 10,000/- as the government declared. Some of the people also complaining that they have got only Rs. 5,000/- in place of Rs. 10,000/- as compensation.
They demand GHMC to solve the issue as soon as possible and compensate them with Rs. 10,000/- as it is declared by the state government.
GHMC has distributed the flood relief ration kits to the flood-affected areas. And on the other side of the coin, Telangana BJP is demanding the state government to compensate with 20 lakh INR for families who faced the human loss.
