Instagram launching Reels In India after TikTok Ban

Instagram Reels

The Indian Government has banned TikTok and 59 other applications on the verge to fight china digitally and this ban has costed Tik tok parent company, a loss of almost $6 Billion loss equal to Rs 447783900000.

We already have heard that Indian app “Chingari” has already gained popularity and now has almost 10,000,000+ downloads in a play store and I’m sure that the number will increase day by day.

Taking the situation as an advantage, Instagram is testing a feature called “reels“. what do you remember while reading this word? Yes, the old film reels, they inspired the name from the same old film reels.

Reels is a TikTok like service that Insta started testing in Brazil last year. With this feature users will be able to create 15 seconds video’s along with the background music.

According to reports from business insider, Instagram has finally started testing reels in India. I did not get the update, but if you get the feature, please inform us in the comments section, how did you feel about it.

Now, Instagram is trying to take over Indian market and giving competition to “Chingari” and also “Mitron“.
