Land grabbing allegations on Telangana State’s Health Minister Etela Rajender have made his supporters protest in many areas in the state. Telangana state Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has taken immediate action after noticing the land grabbing allegations on the Health Minister by writing a letter to the State governor pleasing them to transfer the health ministry from Etela Rajender to Chief Minister immediately and the governor approved the same. With the immediate effect, the health ministry has been transferred to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Saturday.
Coming back to Etela Rajender’s political profile, he has a successful and clean political career of 20 years and has also been one of the founders of the TRS party.
In a press meet held by Etela Rajender on Saturday evening, he stated that Jamuna Hatcheries owned by him has been expanded recently and purchased the lands in Achampet in Medak District. However, the land-grabbing allegations about 100 acres of land from the same village have been denied by Etela Rajender.
He also stated that the expansion of Jamuna Hatcheries has been made with all legal procedures and the same has been intimated to the Chief Minister. Etela Rajender has also mentioned that he maintained a clean profile in both political and private careers and has been eligible to take 100 crores (INR) of loan from a reputed bank to purchase the said lands for the expansion of the Jamuna Hatcheries.
However, the disturbances between the Chief Minister and Etela Rajender have allowed oppositions to attract him to their political parties. Many politicians from other political parties in the state have praised Etela Rajender for his hard work amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Many politicians have also said that Etela Rajender is the only person from the TRS party who has worked so hard in these devasting situations and yet his own party has put allegations on him.
Sources also say that there are some disputes among Chief Minister and Etela Rajender regarding the current situation in the state. And many politicians have also said that Chief Minister KCR has been silent on the issue and took action immediately after municipal polling was held in Warangal and Khammam municipalities.
The Chief Minister has ordered Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to get an inquiry done by the District collector on the allegations on Etela Rajender and also instructed DGP Purnachandra Rao to charge an immediate inquiry on the same allegations.
However, allegations made by the public on the government regarding the land grabbing issue for Kondapochamma Sagar have not been cleared at this pace, the Chief Minister has a clean interest in allegations made on Etela Rajender.
