Movie nights have always been a thing in actual life, but considering the outside situation we can’t go out and have our regular movie nights! So here the Netflix is up with an amazing option for us. NETFLIX PARTY.
Most of us must be binge watching shows on Netflix, right? And wishing ahh, I wish my friends were with me, so you could have the running commentary of the show and fun obviously. So the Netflix came up with this thing called NETFLIX PARTY, which is an extension to be downloaded on the google chrome.
This option would let you and your friends watch together a movie/show and have a chat box where you can simultaneously chat with your friends and have a live convo and not miss your long distance friends.
Isn’t that amazing? Well, the drawback also walk in, that you cannot use it on your phone or iPad. It should be on your PC. But that shouldn’t hold you from watching shows on board with a bigger screen, right? Now how do you setup a NETFLIX PARTY?
Steps to setup Netflix Party
Step 1: Open Netflix on your PC.
Step 2: Go to the show/movie which you want to watch with your friends.
Step 3: Start playing it.
Step 4: Then click on the NP icon (Netflix party) which is present next to the address bar.
Step 5: Then click “stay party”.
Step 6: The party will be started and then you can share the URL link to your friends.
Isn’t it simple? But remember the google extension should be downloaded beforehand.
Note: Everyone you send the URL link should hold a Netflix account, people without the Netflix account can’t access it or watch it.
The Netflix Party let’s about 50 people watch together at one single go.
