An Indore based start-up aims to get small merchants to revive their business into all-inclusive online services and helps non tech scientists to use many services at a physical store. Founder Jitendra Soni, who worked with various retail companies like Snapdeal and Asian paints for over 10 years before starting the venture with his co-founder Sumit Chordiya. He intends to reach every Indian street and make VOSO a one stop answer for every person.

Started in 2018, head office in Indore with 150 employees and is registered under the parent company Tracknovate Technologies Private Limited.

Intending to create a platform to enable more employability and break the wall between rural & suburban area and digitization, the founders have brought VOSO. Reaching 700+ cities and 2000+ pin codes and 5000+ B2B users, with an increasing number constantly.

VOSO’s core value is make a strong relation between their partners and potential customers through a convenient platform of utility services such as like Travel Booking, Utility Bill Payment, Domestic Money transfer, PAN card, charge fees, insurance, medicine, enabling them to use and earn more services at competitive prices. VOSO’s B2B portal saves time, energy and money and connects individuals on one pre-built portal to all the major services.

Innovation is what VOSO is known for. It thrives to provide perfect services and support. It has reached over 2000 stores across states, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Gujarat. They are receiving a month on month growth of 25% but they won’t settle for less and constantly working on improving services and reaching a wide range of people.

How does VOSO function?

A store owner is signed up on VOSO Portal, which aggregates e-services like travel bookings (bus, flights, hotels), insurance (online and offline), utility bill payments, recharges (FasTag, mobile, DTH), loan repayments, municipal taxes, money transfers, pan card, Aadhaar services, and others.

Offering bill payment services, the firm has linked its platform with the Bharat Bill Payment System. The retailer becomes a BBPS agent, who then becomes a single point of contact for customers to enter their place of delivery/service and pay a bill. Payments can be accepted.

Store owners receive basic instruction from all e-services, along with essential technology support and digital marketing services once boarding is complete. The entire store is rebranded as well. The start-up also connects stores with properly certified insurance agents.

Looking ahead

The start-up aims to expand into larger cities and raise funding. The founder aims to launch a mobile application through which people can easily connect and find out about the VOSO stores nearby.

A business like VOSO can scale up under a partnership model (Amazon) where it can offer its service and add on to build a multi-service centre.
