Over 1.91 lakh people have been vaccinated in India on day
1. The Indian government has already announced the over 3 crore front line workers will be vaccinated under phase. Though the government is 100% confident in the vaccine, most of the public is still thinking about it.
It is also a shock to see that no politician or celebrity is vaccinated for now. Apart from this issue, the public in India is in panic again as Norway has registered 29 deaths after receiving the Pfizer vaccine.
Norway has already vaccinated about 42,000 people in their first phase. Australia on the other end is closely monitoring the vaccination drive of Norway, as Australia has made an agreement of 10 million vaccine doses with Pfizer.
China, which has registered the lowest cases in recent times, now constructed a 1500 room hospital in Nangong city in just 5 days. This shows that they are expecting the worst situation again as the covid-19’s new strain has been entered their country too. China earlier has built these types of hospitals at the starting stage of the pandemic.
Coming back to India, 447 cases of adverse events were reported after vaccination, and 3 were hospitalized among them. The Health Ministry has also said that 2 has been discharged and the other person is still under observation in AIIMS Rishikesh. If these vaccines are so trustable, why we didn’t hear it from WHO? This is a big question for everyone.
WHO providing insurance to poor countries against the vaccines is not giving any confidence to the public to volunteer to the vaccination drive. Why didn’t we have any celebrities promoting the vaccination drive in India yet? Like we always have someone being a promoter on behalf of the government to stop consuming alcohol, to donate blood and all.
Keeping these instances aside, people still believe that vaccines that we have right now are more of a political and economic game than just being a savior from COVID-19.
