1.Solar Eclipse will be visible in the countries Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. The southern part of South America, South-west Africa will witness partially.

2. People who wish to see this eclipse in the listed countries can witness up to 2 Minutes and 10 seconds of darkness during the day.

3. In India, Solar Eclipse will not be visible because it begins at late evening 7:03 pm(IST), it will be in peak stage at 9:43 PM and ends at 12:23 AM on Dec, 15th.

The first solar eclipse of the year happened on June 21, 2020, which is visible from earth. Since the last Solar eclipse of the year is not visible in our country rituals followed by Hindus are not considered.

According to the Sanskrit magazine, In Rigveda Atri Rishi, Human son of Lord Brahma says how Svarbhanu created the eclipse.

Sva= Sky, Bha= Light and Anu= Follower
I.e, Follower of Light that presents in the sky.
Svarbhanu, A demon had trapped the sun and the whole earth becomes dark. He is not from God’s place Heaven but was from the earth.
