A Ray of Hope this Year – Letting Positivity Win.

positivity

A ray of hope this year. Since we just passed Thanksgiving day which is all about gratitude and celebrating blessings from the past it is also time for us now to show some gratitude for the good things that happened this year.

While some businesses have shut down some start-ups have bloomed, some of them lost their jobs while some created one for others. We have been cursing the year for all the reasons we can and most importantly the pandemic.

But apart from all the negative things happening around the world there were also some good things happening which should be appreciated and given some attention.

Starting with the best and it must surely be the ones which are related to the environment. Must say that this year earth finally got some time to breathe after continuous destruction caused to it.

The pollution levels during the lockdown dropped significantly and nature came back to a litter better form. It was like the whole world paused for a few months and nature was repairing itself. Just after a week of the lockdown NASA recorded a 20-year low pollution level in India.

The bush fires in Australia had stopped after heavy rains which was a positive news.

While some countries are still fighting the virus on the other hand there are some countries which cured the last people detected with coronavirus in their countries. The countries are New Zealand, Tanzania, Vatican City and a few more.

Many human lives were lost which included celebrities, frontline workers, sportspersons, politicians, our own family members or neighbours and many others. But at the same time many people were united with their families as they were off work due to the lockdown.

We all helped each other come out from the negativity which was widespread and found a ray of hope amidst the difficult times.

What if the theatres around the world got shut down the drive-in theatres and concerts made a comeback. Though they wouldn’t be as same as the theatres but you get to spend time watching the movie privately with your loved ones.

Board games also made a comeback. More family time, more bonding. Work from home and online exams became the new normal and now we need not stress about reaching our offices or colleges on time.

Getting back to the hometown gave a new joy. Most of them got time to work on their hidden talents and explore more ways of being creative. Since the markets were closed and public gatherings were avoided people started growing their own veggies at home and tried out new ways of cooking food as the restaurants were closed.

We all tried helping the daily wage workers and helping them survive this pandemic along with us and not letting them give up.

This year we gave a kick start to all our start up plans and many of them started their own businesses.

This year we as humans experienced and learned a lot of new things. From getting depressed to blaming ourselves for not coping up some of us had new beginnings while some had to give up on what we dreamt we have seen a lot.

There were many negative things happening but at the same time, some good things also happened to balance.

Since we have almost come to the end of the year, we need to just keep the negative things in the past and make sure that we make full use of the upcoming opportunities and not blame the year for bringing in these kinds of situations and make positivity a choice for ourselves.
