The Tamil Nadu government urges the Centre and had written a letter to either stop releasing or completely ban Amazon Prime video’s series “The Family Man 2” across the country. The Tamil Nadu government found the trailer of The Family Man 2 insulting Eelam Tamilians and portraying Samantha, a Tamil speaking actress as a terrorist is not at all acceptable by them.

The letter also stated that the released trailer of The Family Man 2 has already evoked strong and widespread opposition from the people of Tamil-Nadu as well as from the political parties from the state and protect the peace in the state. The Amazon Prime Video hasn’t stated anything about changing the release date yet. The series is likely to show the difficulties faced by Eelam Tamilians in Sri Lanka for their survival in the early days.

The trailer of the series The Family Man 2 has released on YouTube and got 45 million views already. Amazon Prime Video has announced that the series will be released on June 4th this year.
