Hey, riders! Missing Royal Enfield 500? Want it back? Well! Royal Enfield cannot bring you that back, but the Benelli Imperiale 400 can do that for you. The all-new Benelli Imperiale 400 BS4 is all set to launch in India in November 2020. Benelli team well known for the sports bike and their designs were too classy long rides.
But this time Benelli has come out of its comfort zone and tried all new Imperiale 400. The design mostly resembles the Royal Enfield Bullet 500. So we don’t have to miss Bullet 500 anymore. The estimated ex-showroom price is 1.69 lakh. Not way different from Bullet 500.
Let us take a look at its specifications:
- Displacement: 374cc
- Power: 21 PS @ 5500 rpm
- Wheels: Spoke
- ABS: Dual channel
- Tank volume: 12L
- Starting mechanism: Self-start
- Ignition: Fuel injection
- Transmission: 5 speed
- Kerb weight: 205 kg
- Mileage: 35kmpl
Though the whole design looks like classic 500, it lags behind when it comes to power. The Imperiale 400 is just above the classic 350 but far behind from the classic 500. But the Imperiale 400 will definitely like the Indian roads more than the classic 500, as its ground clearance is more.
The Enfield lovers will once again look into the Imperiale as it has two digital trip meters and most importantly the fuel gauge. Though the Imperiale 400 doesn’t compete in power but definitely fulfills the classic 500 lovers if it comes to features. So, let us wait until November this year to ride Benelli Imperiale 400. I hope it continues the legacy of classic 500.
