In the same way, the same textbook and the same content doesn’t fit in every brain. And in the same way, we cannot judge anyone based upon their marks sheet.
Education is just another field or another route to live. Elders these days play a very smart and safe game with their children, training them to get a good job and make a good salary, where in the early days’ people used to train their children to live a life which they can give jobs to others.
Trust me no one has failed by trying to excel in their favorite fields. Our loved profession makes us innovate, work more, and expand and skill automatically comes when we work on loved things.
Everything has been changed and everything we see today will be changed in the coming days, but the books, students are studying today are written since 1920 or so.
We often see these years, we study the theories written 100 years ago and still we apply it nowhere. As the video of Prince EA says, no two brains are similar, then why did the books are similar to all the brains.
Finding different books for different brains is of course not a solution but giving the choice in selecting the subjects to the students can be reasonable. The same old groups in the present competition are nowhere gives the knowledge nor helps the students in reaching heights, instead, it is making life harder.
We need engineers, doctors, financial experts too. But in the same way, we need artists, musicians to entertain us, electricians, carpenters for our personal works.
But we don’t treat them as a profession just because it takes some extra time from education. In a class of 50 students, I’m sure that no 2 person’s goal is similar but they all are getting trained under one roof.
If the destination of 50 students is different, then how come their journey is so similar. Any training session cannot give you assurance about the 100% success rate, in the same way, no education institution assure you the success, but it just depends upon our interests.
People usually say, “study with showing some interest, you’ll stop the board” if we can top the board with showing the interest which we don’t have, then just think how much heights we can see if we train for what we love.
The education system needs no changes right now but the decision-makers have to. People should understand that skills are a lot more worthy and important than the mark sheets do.
Judging a person’s ability and skill by their mark sheets, will hit their confidence and makes them believe that they are not worthy of anything else. Let your children go float with the flow, let them be responsible for what they choose, we never know if we could get all the younger generation successful like crystal clear water that floats in the river. Just make them feel confident in what they have an interest in.
Because, at the end of the day, satisfaction is the only thing that measures our success.
