Dead body of Covid-19 was taken in auto

As there are more COVID-19 cases and deaths rising from the past few days, negligence of the cremation also increasing. A COVID patient dead body was taken in Auto to the Graveyard in Nizamabad is shocking. This incident happened on Friday in Nizamabad where the pictures of the body transported in Auto were shared on social media. Many people around the location are scared to go outside.

As per the media reports, the patient has joined in Nizamabad Government Hospital on June 27th. After his death, the dead body has taken by his relative who works in the hospital as the ambulance is not available.

There are only two ambulances in Nizamabad Hospital which are meant for disposing of the dead bodies. On Friday, four people have died and two ambulances have already left with the bodies. The other bodies are awaited for the disposal said by Collector C. Narayan Reddy of Nizamabad.

Negligence of Hospital authorities and Relatives

As per the inquiry details, the hospital staff has informed the relatives of the dead patient to wait for an hour for ambulance arrival. But, they neglected and carried the body. So, the hospital management has arranged the municipal employee to take the body to the Graveyard according to the reports.

The worst part is that neither the Auto relative nor the municipal employee has not worn the PPE kit. This is mandatory to wear before disposing of the COVID-19 body which we can see in the image.

These incidents are not new as we have seen much negligence shown to the COVID-19 dead bodies from the past few months in our Country.
