Amid the increase in tensions with china all along the length of 3488 k.m of Line of Actual Control (LAC), our Indian government took a massive step this afternoon to ban all the 59 Chinese apps and their related links which have origin from china with support granted from “Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology”.

59 Chinese apps: Decision in Demand!

Over a few years, India has been technically equally competitive in this digital era, and our country emerged being a strong innovator for today in this digital pace. With all these developments, data security management of 130 crore individuals has become a mammoth task, with an enormous amount of risk involved at the cost of the country’s security. And many complaints to the ministry of IT reveal the threat to sovereignty and security of our country.

So to restrict the misuse of various apps used on iOS and Android platforms, which transmit confidential data to unauthorized locations outside India, which affects the security & defense system of India. 

Need for the Move?

This bold decision to perform a digital strike against China is in response to the tension along the border of China, following the Galwan Valley clash in which 20 Indian soldiers were killed in action. Chinese troops were also killed in this clash, the burning rage of our troops against China hardened, losing lives of our warriors, so the authority and power now takes its turn for this digital strike.

This will be a strong revolt!

The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, Ministry of Home Affairs, on considering the complaints about these wicked apps ensuring safety , sovereignty , sowed seeds of security as the first step to ban these 59 apps all together on mobile and non-mobile internet enabled devices, and let us stand united for this digital freedom.
