Law student fined by Delhi High Court for filing PIL against Central Government decision

Delhi high court has fined a law student for filing a PIL against the central Government. We all know the process of lifting the lockdown has been already started from June 1st in India. Though the spread of the virus is not in control, the government started off the process of lifting lockdown in full swing. Eventually, we see that the decision is failed practically as the virus has started to show its main phase now. After all these situations a law student in New Delhi filed a case questioning the center’s decision and asking for the exact reasons for lifting the lockdown. The law student on Friday this week was fined Rs. 20,000/- for his questions, by the High Court.

The High Court also stated that the center has not decided to lift lockdown in haste. The decision was made to maintain a balance between the spread of the virus and make sure that people are not forced to starve.

I’m shocked by the statement given by the High Court, New Delhi, even after seeing the positive cases being registered from the past ten days. Though it is clearly seen that the main intention of lifting lockdown was the falling revenue. Of course, the revenue is surely important for a country but not at the cost of our life.

Now our country is facing even more worst conditions than losing the revenue. At first, we thought the government is failed only at conducting COVID-19 tests but now we are seeing the worst, the government is failed once again in providing basic beds for the patients. And now they will definitely look to make this pandemic to the private hospitals.

People are still starving, they are scared, and the cases are rising in India like never before. And the government, it is the time to work harder, to make people believe you. First, save our lives then we save your revenue. Let us make it together, life over revenue.

And coming back to the case, I didn’t find any wrong allegations from the law student in New Delhi.
