Battlegrounds Mobile India Beta version released in the country for limited testers before it’s going completely online. After PUBG gets banned in India, Krafton had concentrated more on its relaunch in the country as its users and a major portion of the revenue was generated by India.
As we all know, Krafton renamed the application as Battlegrounds Mobile India and also changed the privacy concerns by the users. Let us check what changes had Krafton made in BGMI to make a better replacement and better version of PUBG:
The BGMI is available only for Indians, unlike PUBG all over the world. This changes the target audience of BGMI is completely Indians. Possibly, the other countries’ servers couldn’t be available in BGMI. To make a better come back, the krafton is working more on coming up with more in-game events to engage the users at high rate.
The BGMI is subjected to only Indian gamers so the outfits and the skins will also be limited to India. Coming to security to the users’ information, there has been more debates as there are allegation on the application that they can be misused the data and it could be a national issue. So the developers now clarified that the data collected by the application will be stored only on Indian and Singapore servers and they are well protected.
The concern of parents regarding the play time has also been solved by the developers. Gamers under 18-years-old cannot play the game over 3 hours and the in-game purchase activities are also restricted to 7,000 INR per day.
The BGMI developers are also planning a huge platform for Indian gamers, collaborating with Esports which can take the gamers in India to broader platform. Other features are yet to be released officially by the developers. The iOS version of the game will also be launched soon in India.
