Yes, Lockdown 5.0 says revenue over life(Revenue over lockdown). Let us get this debate started from the beginning. Pandemic, that’s what we call COVID-19, right? “the world fights with pandemic” that’s what every official said at the beginning and how far we fought? Literally three months (24th March-31stMay).
We have the patience of three months to fight with the enemy of the world. How far the world wars went? We fought with each other for years and just check how we are fighting with our common enemy.
Keeping the world aside, let us talk about the situation in India. A country with 130 crore population, has the population to face a disaster in these critical times started off well with the lockdown 1.0, appreciated by the world, and continued it successfully in lockdown 2.0 i.e., till 3rd of May.
These 40 days of lock down (1.0 & 2.0) changed the perception of the world towards India. Even the U.S.A couldn’t stop the public coming on to the roads, but India did. And yes, it was successful for sure.
Everything went well till lockdown 2.0. Then where did we give up? REVENUE!
We often see some statements in movies stating “Money rules everything” and I really thought it was just for some people who just want to earn than to live. I never thought I’ll see the day which says Revenue over Life! Just give a thought.
Would it be the same if we are under kings rather than governments? Would the kings in our country will give up? Will they allow the public to roads in these situations? Would they give importance to revenue rather than their lives?
Okay, I agree the death rate is low, but they are dying for the same reason, why don’t the defenders of government see it? I can surely say, our kings would have fought for years for their people, and they would don’t even care about the revenue they get and about the losses they get.
And here comes our government calling themselves as civilized! Well, I don’t think giving up on people’s lives will make us civilized.
I agree many people say, “how long we will sit at home and we have to live with it”, I’ll answer to them, “what’s making you hurry to die”. Our governments can’t just feed us for two more months and we elect these people to play our lives (irrespective of any political party).
Relaxations from lockdown 3.0 is a lame decision I have ever seen. Let us forget about the lockdown 4.0 but the lockdown 5.0 is a joke too many of us. It’s like giving the Avengers series with Titanic title. Doesn’t believe me? Let us check the rules of 5.0
· Hotels, Restaurants, Temples, and Malls will be opened from the 8th of June except in containment zones.
· They will open Educational institutions after consulting states in July.
· Movie theatres, International travels, Metro rail, Gyms, Public gatherings will be decided later depending on the situation.
Hotels, Malls, etc will be opened from the 8th of June! Seriously? Our fight is done? This statement literally states that we are not here to save you, your life is your responsibility, then why the hell we need you? To loot us? Definitely not.
Educational institutions will be opened after consulting the states, seriously? I just want to see the person who gives these ideas. Do you expect the students to finish their graduation and find out about a vaccine for COVID-19? Everything else can wait, dude!
They cannot effort the economy to fall, right? Then why did they ruin the people’s lives? What have we won in these days? And here comes the drama with 20000000000000 crores. Where did it go? Who got benefited from it? Sir, we beg to save our life first rather than money, please.
Many of us went through a video where a woman starved to death in a railway station in Bihar and her 2 years old son doesn’t even know that she left him.
We can allow 20 lakh crore funds to go in vain and people here are dying for food. Can’t the government afford a piece of bread to the country in the fight? Don’t we support the government in these situations? Then for who the hell do they make relaxations?
And dude, I’m not asking to oppose your favorite political parties, I’m asking to save your life on your own because they’ve failed Revenue over lockdown for the government.
