Sanskrit – A Sacred Language with Endless Job Opportunities

Over the past few decades, we are learning our cultural importance from Western Countries. Yoga which is a part of our Indian lives is much famous in the western part of the world, isn’t this considered a sad fact? Sanskrit is being taught in western countries mainly in Europe where many schools are showing much interest to make children pursue this language.

A few months back as per NEP 2020, the policy is trying to make children learn Sanskrit by giving them this subject as an optional one.

Cut to the Chase, days are gone for Sanskrit students could only become scholars and teachers. There are many jobs opening up in several sectors.

Many Sanskrit students are being hired by software companies, civil services, fashion design, food& entertainment industry for the creation of serials and movies on ancient Vedas said by Shrinivasa, Vice-chancellor of Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University from Ramtek.

Astronomists and Mathematicians are hiring Sanskrit experts. Many of them are joined in Google, Ayurvedic firms, Yoga training, and IIT’s. Many IITs are holding workshops on Sanskrit based knowledge systems.

Demand for Sanskrit Language:

The Gurukul system of education was very dedicated to preserving Sanskrit. Many universities are also showing much interest in offering a dedicated course on the subject. Modern Gurukulas are being established in India with Swamy Narayan schools, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, etc..

Even on the IPL trophy, you can see the words written in Sanskrit “Yatra Pratibha Avsara Prapnotihi”  which means where talent meets opportunity”.

Sanskrit is the most demanded and underrated sacred language.
