Sonu Sood Scam? Twitter Trends

Well, hastag Sonu Sood Scam (#sonusoodscam) has been coming into the limelight after Collector & District Magistrate, Ganjam responds to Sonu Sood’s tweet claiming that his foundation had arranged a bed for the needy in Ganjam city hospital after his team received a request on Twitter.

In reply, Collector & District Magistrate, Ganjam had officially tweeted that they didn’t get any request from Sood Foundation or from Sonu Sood for a hospital bed and the requested patient is at home isolation and he is doing well tagging CMO Odisha on Twitter.

In reply, Sonu Sood shared the screenshots of his team’s chat with the needy confirming that they have arranged the bed without approaching the officials. The story doesn’t end here but in return the Collector & District Magistrate, Ganjam praised the Sood foundation’s efforts in helping the needy and confirmed that they just wanted to check with the facts.

Meanwhile, so many allegations on Sonu Sood are being shared on social media. A person raised a request repeatedly that they need plasma for a 40-year-old at New Delhi. And Sonu Sood through his Twitter handle posted that the plasma has been delivered. But the lady who raised the request has tweeted again stating that there is no need for the plasma and asks Sonu Sood to stop the scam.

Many people tweeting with hastag sonu sood scam (#sonusoodscam) are claiming that he is raising fake requests and retweeting the same. Also questioned that why most of the accounts are being de-activated after raising the request to Sonu Sood.

On the other hand, there are so many people supporting Sonu Sood for what he is doing to the country at hard times and claiming that this could be a political drama as Sonu Sood is being compared with the governments. There are times where #sonusoodPM has also been trending on the Twitter platform for his work and compared to the government for their total failure.

Many pages have posted some tweets claiming to be fake without any proper evidence have been removed in Instagram too. All these allegations on Sonu Sood raised from an official tweet from Collector & District Magistrate, Ganjam hasn’t been sorted yet. And no official statement has been given by Sonu Sood for tweets claiming to be fake requests.

However, we have seen Sonu Sood and his foundation working so hard more than any politician in the country since day 1 of the pandemic in India. We urge the other influencers not to spread any of the news that breaks the only trust of the public in the country until we get the official statements.
