Stars death and collapse challenged whatever we know about supernova

Supernova

Universe and space have a lot of things that are sometimes unexplainable, fascinating and very astonishing like supernova, black holes, stars, galaxies etc

Last year the astronomers observed 0.65 Ray burst which day observed by NASA’s Fermi gamma-ray space telescope. That burst was just was travelling towards the Earth for half of the present age of the universe and it was picked by a lot of instruments because of which the researchers could track down its location.

It makes this very an expected and one of the most powerful events in the universe. Here’s why – it was very unusual and very fascinating because a supernova was found at the origin of Gamma-ray burst for the first time in the universe which people could observe. It was thought to have originated from a star with collapsing and which could travel across billions of light years.

We were not aware that the stars which are dying can produce Kama Ray burst but now it is clear and it is also special because it was just for 0.65 seconds which is a very short duration and there are a lot of other properties to it.

So what exactly is a supernova?

Something which is not found during a merger It is only formed when there is a collapse of a massive star. That makes this incident and observation very challenging to all the traditional classifications of Gamma-ray burst because here the supernova was formed during a merger and this makes the scientists think they need to really look and read all the other bursts they have observed. This was also said by Shashi Bhushan Pandey of the Aryabhatta research Institute of observational sciences. He being one of the astronomical was involved in the observation and and remarked that this study challenged a lot many notions.

Universe, supernova and space are full of exciting and new observations which make us look at all the decisions and models. There is so much that is unknown to human mind and are still never ending discoveries. This observation and discovery will help the astronomers to understand more about the stars which are exploding and collapsing and more about how these are linked to the supernovas.
