Tips To Lower your Screen Time

Most of us might face with the problem of “ADDICTION TO THE SCREEN-DEVICES”. The addiction turns to a level of sliding of the important works across the table, just to scroll down on the device. A lot of us try being productive but fail too so. Let’s put you over with some tips which might help you REDUCE your screen time.

1. Push off the un-wanted notifications

A lot of us get mainly distracted when our phone keeps buzzing with various notifications, and it bound us to use the phone which would seamlessly turn into hours of consumption on the screen.

So, when you REMOVE OR TURN OFF the Un-wanted notifications of the apps, it would save you a great time. Baby-steps for progress are IMPORTANT. Consider this as one.

2. Do not use your phone before going to bed.

This is a big change over, as most of us use our phones while we go to bed, and that scrolling seems endless. According to research your brain cells get affected when you watch too much screen time and adding to that when you strain your eyes in the dark before sleep. It is requested to not use phone before sleeping for at least 30 mins, so your mind stays peaceful, your sleep is good and not that of disturbed.

3. Keep time limit

This is a tough job, but slowly try keeping time limits for your phone. For instance, try keeping yourself off the screen for an hour to begin with. For that hour, try not getting distracted and bringing it on again. In a slow process, increase the time-limit.

4. Analyze your screen time

On almost all the devices you have the option of analyzing your screen-time, which would give you a better understanding of about where and when and which app are you using more. Try setting app reminders, so when you cross your limit it notifies you.

Everyone has days when they just binge watch their phone and it is okay, but making it into a habit is definetely a huge no. Slowly try overcoming it.
