5 minute quick enticing recipes if you are lazy or late!

Hungry but short on time? Whip up speedy snacks and desserts in 5 minutes. A satisfying meal always keeps us going. 

These wonderful and delicious five minute recipes are super quick and simple. But they don’t have to be boring! With judicious use of convenience foods and pre-made products, you can make some fantastic meals in almost no time.

1)Taiwanese Soy Sauce Noodles– They are known as the easiest noodle recipe in Taiwan. A healthy, tasty and simple recipe you should absolutely give it a shot.

Ingredients–

  • One portion of noodles 120 grams
  • Point 5 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp of black vinegar
  • 1.5 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoon of sesame  oil
  • Chilli oil
  • Green onion
  • Cilantro

Method

Boil the noodles. In a dish, add soya sauce, black vinegar, sugar and sesame oil until mixed. 

If you like it spicy, you can also include some chili oil corresponding to your spice pallet. 

Drain the noodles and add the noodles to the bowl. Garnish them with cilantro and green onions.

Some toppings you can likewise choose with Taiwanese Soy Sauce Noodles include sliced cucumber, shredded chicken, fried eggs, or pan-fried tofu! 

 2)     Besan Chilla – It is a healthy, nutritious and tasty chilla. The chilla are very prominent around the north states of India. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gram flour (besan) 
  • ¼ TSP turmeric powder
  • ¼ TSP red chili powder
  • ½ cumin powder
  • Salt as required
  • ¼ cup minced onions
  • ¼ minced tomatoes 
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • ¼ cup finely chopped coriander 
  • 1-2 green chilies (finely minced)
  • Asafoetida(hing)

Method –

First, include the gram flour into the dish. In case you don’t have gram flour, you can replace it with chickpea flour.

Next, add all the veggies and herbs into the dish. Make sure the veggies are chopped properly.

Add all the spices and salt. You can add ½ tsp of cumin seeds for a better flavor.

Add ½ cup water and stir it well using a whisk.

Check the consistency of the batter if it’s too thick, then add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water to make it to a pouring consistency and no lumps.

Heat the pan it is important that the pan has to be hot before you make the chilla 

Add a portion of batter to the center of the pan, just rotate with the back of the spatula, giving a round and even shape.

Cook on a medium flame. Drizzle few drops of oil around the edges of the chilla 

After a minute, they will look crisp and brown and brown. Flip the chilla on the other side until it turns golden brown.

Once they turn brown, flip them. You could stuff it with crumbled paneer.

Serve the delicious besan chilla with mint chutney or ketchup.

3)  Oreo Vanilla Mug Cake– have you got a craving for dessert? Here is a simple to bake mug cake which you won’t regret baking.

Ingredients –

  • Half cup flour
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • Half teaspoon baking powder
  • Half teaspoon vanilla essence
  • ¼  cup oil or butter
  • Half cup milk
  • A pack of oreos

Method – 

In a mug, add ½ cup flour, ¼ cup powdered sugar, ½ tsp baking powder and mix it up.

Then add ¼ cup oil or butter, ¼ vanilla extract, ½ cup milk, bring the batter together and add some crushed oreos. Stir it well 

Microwave it for at least 2 mins 

Serve the mug cake with a scoop of ice cream and some crushed oreos on top.
