Coping mechanism to deal with Anxiety and Stress

Every other person around us is dealing with mental health problems these days. The environment around us has conditioned to push us into these problems even more. Let’s look into some interesting solutions to deal with anxiety and stress.

Practice deep breathing:

Breathe in for 4 counts and breathe out for 4 counts for 5 minutes at a time. You can do this as many times as you want in your day, try it, especially when you are mentally unstable. By evening out your breath, you are slowing down your heart rate which should calm you down.

Start meditating:

Meditation is one of the most common solutions for mental health problems. It can be a part of daily routine. It helps to build resilience to stress. By learning how to calm your body and mind, it can help your physical as well as emotional stress to melt away. Meditation produces a deep state of relaxation and a tranquil mind. You can also take up yoga. 

Have well-balanced meals:

Eat a well-balanced meal every day. Skipping a meal should not be an option. Each meal is necessary for our body. Sometimes we think that skipping one meal can help us with physical body issues but skipping a meal is considered unhealthy according to research. Anything unhealthy can influence your mind. So always have a balanced meal without skipping any of the males.

Enough sleep:

Get adequate sleep, proper sleep is important for maintaining a healthy body. Especially when we are stressed body needs additional sleep and the mind to be at rest. Sleep-related disorders are rising and many illnesses people are suffering from are due to insufficient sleep these days.

Learn what triggers your anxiety:

Maintain a journal whenever you are feeling stressed or getting anxiety attacks. Try to write them down and notice the pattern. Try to find the main root of the problem. When you will have a pattern in front of your eyes, it will be easier for you to deal with the problem because now you know the main root of the problem what is triggering it, which people fail to identify hence suffer from anxiety issues. 

Workout Daily:

Physical exercise is very important to maintain a sound body be it physical or mental. Once you start doing you will start noticing it’s a positive outcome in your health. 

Accept that you cannot control everything:

Everything can’t be controlled, it’s not our your hands. Accept things and go with the flow. This attitude can help astonishingly decrease your anxiety or stressfulness

Reduce your caffeine intake :

Limit intake of strong products like alcohol and caffeine. High doses of these supplements can increase anxiety. They can also trigger panic attacks. 

Use aromatherapy:

The product can be in oil form, incense, or candle chamomile and sandalwood can be very soothing. Aromatherapy is considered to help activate certain receptors in your brain, potentially easing anxiety. 

Consult a doctor:

Identifying what sort of anxiety you are suffering from is very important. Sometimes anxiety can turn to serious anxiety attacks that initially can feel manageable but later on built up to serious mental health issues. That’s the point you should consult your doctor when it’s not manageable at all.

Above is a list of some techniques to deal with anxiety and stress. Follow these techniques and notice the changes. Once you find the precise treatments which work best for you, life would gradually transform into a more enjoyable form.
