Cyber Crimes

Cyber crime

Of course, it is 2020 and yet we are here talking about cyber crimes. Every year India alone registers around 42 million cases only under cyber crime. The growing technology is helping us to fight with the cybercrimes, but it is also creating a new route to cyber crimes with every upgrade in it.

Though there are many special police teams to cop up with the public in fighting with these crimes, the public needs to be more conscious before sharing anything online or offline.

So, Crunch Stories now will release some series of articles on cyber crime, explaining all the crimes happening on the internet and offline too. The very first thing we should be aware of to avoid these types of crimes is to handle our emotions and decisions.

Of course, this might be a different issue from our emotions, but speaking in deep about cyber crimes, the victims are deeply trapped emotionally. Online friends, online lotteries, temporary relations, job offers, fake prizes, and many more are routes for cybercrimes.

They trap the public emotionally, they target the people who need jobs, money, etc.

Talking about the current scenario, we all need to take more care as everything is being made online amid coronavirus pandemic. Buying a pin to buying a property is happening online these days. Of course, it is a good part to get everything from home but at the same time, it is our job to know about cybercrimes taking place every day.

We get a lot of marketing messages every day to our mobile or mail address, we simply ignore them. But trust me, there is a lot to learn from them. Sources say that from every ten messages we get as advertisement, two messages are a fraud.

Emails are no less to make frauds, the main targets of these fraudsters are youth who need a job, who need money immediately. There are many incidents we see every day in NEWS about the cybercrimes but no fewer cases than yesterday.
