Telangana formula to grade SSC students. C.M. K. Chandrashekhar Rao has announced to promote 5,34,903 tenth class students to the next level this June 8, 2020 without any examination amid this pandemic. It is no simple decision to stay responsible for the careers of all the students of Telangana who are just budding out into the competitive world.
The impact of such a decision from our government will have intense pressure and buy unpredictable consequences for students, parents, intermediate college admissions, and so much of chaos all around.
To unify and grade students based on the internal assessments, our chief minister raised the need for a powerful formula for grading students on their potential & maintain uniformity for all the students studying in schools of Telangana.
This is a bold decision to reduce the rapid spread of coronavirus to the possible extent & considering the long-term effect for the delay in the commencement of the coming academic year.
It has been four days since the decision was made final, but no further clarifications made on the clarity of the grades nor the admission procedures of intermediate.
Since by now we have the clarity of telangana SSC students being promoted, we shall understand the change and adapt to the new ways and let us expect many more changes to improve our education system much better where we always considered marks as strong criteria to define potential of a student.
