How to get your Covid-19 vaccination certificate over whatsapp

Your COVID-19 vaccination certificate is now available for download via your WhatsApp. You will not be required to input your reference ID; instead, you will be requested to enter your OTP, after which you will be given your vaccination certificate.

At first, users could only download the certificate through the Aarogya Setu app. Now everyone can download their certificate via the MyGov Corona Helpdesk chatbot on WhatsApp. This bot was launched in March 2020 to assist with COVID-19-related queries and to minimize disinformation about the coronavirus pandemic.

The vaccine certificate will be given to you once you have received the first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. In case you were unaware, you will be needed to produce your final immunisation certificate if you want to go anyplace in India or beyond the country.

In some circumstances, you will not be needed to take the COVID-19 exam if you have the final immunisation certificate. Continue reading to learn how to get the COVID-19 immunisation certificate in less than 60 seconds.

Here are few steps mentioned for covid-19 vaccination certificate:

Step 1: Open WhatsApp and send a “Hello” message to +91 9013151515. You can store this number as “Corona Helpdesk bot” if you don’t already have it.

Step 2: After you send a message, the bot will present you with a list of COVID-19-related subjects. In the second line of the list, you’ll find “Download Certificate.” so just type “2” and send.

Step 3: The bot will offer three alternatives again, and all you have to do now is type and send “3.” You may download the vaccination certificate using the third option.

Step 4: An OTP will be provided to your phone number, which you must reply to in the conversation.

To be noted: If your WhatsApp number differs from the one that you had used to register with CoWin, you will not get an OTP. The certificate must then be downloaded from the Aarogya Setup app.

Step 5: After entering the OTP, the bot will show you the names of people who have registered on the CoWIN website with the same number.

Step 6: Now input the user’s phone number whose vaccination certificate you’d want to download. Your vaccination certificate will then be then forwarded to you over WhatsApp in PDF format.

COVID-19 can bring serious a life-threatening complications, as we can see in hospitals where hundreds of patients daily who need the correct treatment with care. Even though it affects with certain groups, and it’s now completely based on age, health, and other factors. It is still not possible to predict how corona will affect any individual. We should take precautions and get vaccinated as quickly as possible. Let’s unite and defeat the coronavirus together.
