Migraine: Symptoms, Precautions and Treatment

A migraine could be a headache which will cause severe unbearable pain or a pulsing sensation, usually on one side of the top. It is often go along with by vomiting and extreme sensitivity to light and sound.

Aura:

Attack:

Post-drome:
After a migraine dose, you may feel drained, disordered and washed out for up to each day. Some people report feeling overjoyed. Sudden head movement might bring forth the pain again briefly. During a migraine, you might have:
• Pain usually on one side of your head, but often on either side.
• Pain that throbs or pulses.
• Sensitivity to light, sound, and sometimes smell and touch.
• Nausea and vomiting.

How Migraine can be triggered?

  1. Hormonal changes in women
  2. Fluctuations in estrogen, like before or during menstrual periods, pregnancy and menopause, semen the way to trigger headaches in many ladies.
  3. Drinks, The drinks contain a great deal of alcohol in wine, champagne and contain an excessive amount of caffeine in coffee.
  4. Stress, stress by the side of work or home can cause migraines.
  5. Sensory stimuli, Bright or flashing lights can talk into migraines, as can loud sounds.
  6. Sleep changes, missing sleep or getting an excessive amount of sleep can trigger migraines in some people.
  7. Physical factors, Intense workout, including sexual issues, might provoke migraines.
  8. Weather changes, A change of weather or air pressure can prompt a migraine.
  9. Foods and Food additives: Aged cheeses and salty and processed foods might trigger migraines. So might skip meals. These include the sweetener aspartame and the preservative MSG (MSG), found in many foods.

  11. Stress management, you can improve your sleep habits. Avoid migraine triggers and focus on diet modification.

  13. Antipsychotic, Analgesic, anti-inflammatory drug, Stimulant, Nerve pain medication, Triptan, Neurotoxin and Dietary supplement.

  15. There is no sufficient cure for migraine. However, medications can treat the symptoms once they arise, and folks can take steps to scale back the frequency and severity of episodes.

Anyone can develop migraine, but it’s more common in people:
• Depression
• Bipolar disorder
• Fibromyalgia
• Irritable bowel syndrome
• An overactive bladder
• Sleep disorders
• Obsessive-compulsive disorder
• Anxiety

• Using stretchy cold packs or masks.
• Staying in a quiet, darkened room.
