Oneplus 8 series has revealed with two new flagships 8 and 8 Pro. It kept the promise that its models will be under $1,000. Indeed, the fully loaded Pro phone costs whooping $999 and with the base specifications is $100 below that.
Oneplus 8 starts at $700. Both new models will be available on the Oneplus official website from April 29, and will also sell through Amazon in all the major carriers.

Oneplus 8 Pro Specifications
The Oneplus 8 Pro comes with a new 6.78 inches Fluid AMOLED display, it is the largest display with the 120Hz refresh rate from the brand yet. Screen comes with a 240Hz touch response rate to reduce input lag.
They calibrated the display for achieving a record for color accuracy. They equipped it with a 10-bit panel with HDR10+ support with 3D corning Gorilla Glass. There is an MEMC, which can interpolate 24fps video to 120fps.

It can record 4K video at 60fps using the single-shot 3-HDR feature. The camera uses both the OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) at the same time to maximize the stability of the output video or image.

Oneplus houses a bigger 4,510mAh battery with wireless charging support, the Wrap Charge 30T goes from 0% to 50% battery charge in 23 minutes.
The Oneplus 8 Pro Powered by Snapdragon 865 chipset, which boasts 5G connectivity and Wi-Fi 6 modules. The performance enhanced by switching to LPDDR5 RAM, which is 30% faster and consumes 20% less power than the previous 7 series. UFS 3.0 technology storage used for faster booting and transfer speeds without lag. It is the company’s first model, to get an official IP68 rating.
Oneplus 8 Pro will cost $800 for 8GB/128GB variant and another variant with 12GB/256GB costs $999. It is available in the new Glacial Green, Ultramarine Blue, and Onyx Black.

The Oneplus 8 is packed with a 6.55 inches AMOLED screen with High Definition and 90Hz refresh rate. The screen supports HDR 10+ with 3D corning Gorilla Glass and also offers perfect color accuracy, just like its bigger brother.
Oneplus 8 set up with three camera modules back, the main camera uses the older Sony IMX586 sensor, it means to lose the omnidirectional Auto Focus on 8 series but the pixel binning still supported and there is the Optical and Electronic Image Stabilization (OIS and EIS) combo to help.
Both 8 and 8 Pro used the same front-facing 16MP camera with EIS support and Fixed Focus.
It supports Wrap Charge 30T over wired USB-C and offered 4,300mAh battery, which charges up to 50% in just 22 minutes. However, there’s no support for wireless charging on this model.
The Oneplus 8 powered by Snapdragon 865 chipset with the same configurations of 8 Pro except for the RAM, LPDDR4X like on previous versions and supports both 5G and Wi-Fi 6.
Oneplus 8 will cost $700 for an 8GB/128GB variant and another variant with 12GB/256GB costs $800. It is available in the new Glacial Green (Matte), Interstellar Glow, Onyx Black, and Polar silver.
