Gas Leak in Hundreds and hundreds of complaints were registered to the Telangana State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB) from the residents of Bachupally, Ameenpur, Nallagandla, and from many more areas heading towards Gachibowli regarding the sulphur like the smell spread all over the areas on Friday due to gas leak.

The residents felt that the pungent chemical smell was very hazardous and might lead to some health issues for the residents. One of the residents said that the smell has been coming from quite a few days for some time but it was extreme on Friday.

When the TSPCB teams were contacted the ground teams reported that the smell might be released by the Pharma Companies from the area of Bachupally.

The investigation is still going on. Some residents reported that they had developed serious headaches due to the smell and started to shut down their doors and windows so that the smell doesn’t enter into their houses.

It was also reported that the odour was terrible and they also witnessed slight smog around the areas.

The residents got scared once the smell started coming as they thought this might be any harmful gas leak which can be harmful to one’s life.

The residents have calmed down as the TSPCB teams came down to control the situation and now can be relieved.
