Sunburn 2020 is not Happening – Govt Revokes Permission

This 2020 offers us another disappointment.  Asia’s largest music festival  Sunburn happened to be in December and will not be held this time at regular dates.
Sunburn is a commercial electronic dance music festival in Vagator, Goa, India.

This festival is the amalgamation of music, dance, shopping, food showcasing heavenly experiences.

It is an honor to be ranked as one of the top 10 festivals in the world by CNN & also rated to be 3rd largest dance festival in the world.

Electronic music, parties, events are not new to Goa, but this sunburn has uplifted bars of craze towards love of electronic music in teenagers.

The sunburn has been happening since 2007, Nikhil Chinapa organized the first International Dance Music Festival in Goa. Artists like Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas, Tiesto, DJ Snake perform to delight the crowd from different geographical locations.

this year amid this pandemic, to have control on the count of gathering, limited tickets to Goa Sunburn 2020 went live on online ticketing application BookMyShow.com, with the increase in the covid cases & with a total population of 15,40,000, Goa has reported 44,747 confirmed cases of COVID-19 state tourism minister Manohar Ajgaonkar withdrew permission not to organize a sunburn this year amid this pandemic severity.

 “Attendees health and safety will be the absolute priority, the festival of dance will bring out the blast of fun, which should not limit the enthusiasm of the crowd amid this Pandemic” organizers state with a note that the new dates of the festival will be announced soon.
