Do you remember how a Telugu character used to brick iPhone back in 2018? Well, another text related bug has identified in iOS and it is a disturbance for users. It crashes your iPhone or iPad when you receive that string of text.
They identified that string of text to include a bunch of Sindhi characters and Italian flag emojis originally. But later found that the text characters are the actual culprit here and emoji can be swapped.
How does it affect your iPhone or iPad? When you receive notification from a social media update, message or mail with this character, the iOS devices will have app crashes and touch responsiveness issues.
Is there any fix for this Ios bug?
Yeah! you can fix it by rebooting your device to get back to normal and also turn off notifications for some social media and messaging platform apps (a temporary fix). We suggest you to be cautious about this character bug, and stay away from sharing it with others on WhatsApp, iMessage or social media platforms just to crash their iOS devices. If you’re worried about being affected by the bug, the company had said to have fixed it in the latest iOS 13.4.5 beta. This update is not available for everyone, but we can expect the roll out soon to secure iOS users.
